New Ulm Minnesota Bed and Breakfast - It's Strawberry Season!

At the Deutsche Strasse Bed and Breakfast we enjoy providing our guests with homemade breakfasts - right down to the strawberry jam. This past week, the Minnesota season for fresh-grown strawberries began, and Ramona went to the farm and picked several pounds of this ripened fruit. Over the 4th of July holiday, she spent many hours in the kitchen in the spirit of the holiday - with Red strawberries, Blue apron, and White stove preparing many containers of homemade strawberry jam. Our guests enjoy the jam on croissants, Southern-style buttermilk biscuits, homemade toasted bread just to mention a few ways to enjoy this bursting with flavor item. Your description of strawberry jam is even more enticing to stay at your Bed and Breakfast on the 24th of July 2008. It's Pat's first time in a B&B and I could not have found a better one for the celebration.
