New Ulm Trade Fair - 29th Annual

The New Ulm Trade Fair and Living History Event is being held at Turner Hall in New Ulm, on Saturday, March 13, and Sunday, March 14. There is much to learn when shopping the various tables and visiting with the vendors. Demonstrations are given as well. This event reminds the proprietors at the Deutsche Strasse Bed and Breakfast of the annual Rendevouz that is held in Prairie du Chien in the hot month of June. We attending that event several times and usually the humidity was high as well as the temperatures. The New Ulm Trade Fair is ideal as it is an indoors event as winter is ending and humankind is experiencing cabin fever. If you plan to attend the New Ulm Trade Fair, give us a call to reserve your room and mention our blog. We will give you a 10% discount on a one-night reservation that weekend, or a 20% discount for a two night reservation.

Mother's Day is Special and We Have a Fun Package for our May Guests!

Autumn is here and the nights have been cool and the days pleasant. What a great time of the year to go out on the golf course! The New Ulm Country Club has 18 holes. The back nine borders Flandrau State Park and some of the holes are more challenging than others. The scenery is gorgeous and if you are lucky, you can golf about the time of sunset and see a beautiful vista. We are again approaching the special holiday of Valentine's Day. It is at this time that we need to remind our men that it is the little special things that you do for your loved one that make you more endeared. Plan on giving your special sweetheart your undivided attention and take her away from the house and kitchen and stress. At the Deutsche Strasse Bed & Breakfast, we have comfortable rooms and a special Valentine's Package is in the making and available during the month of February.
