- We truly enjoyed our stay at the Deutsche Strasse. It was just the right amount of pampering to make us feel slightly spoiled. The breakfasts were wonderful! It was so kind of you to care enough to make it all gluten-fee and with STYLE! We’ll have lots of fun telling out friends about your hospitality and look forward to a return visit.

- This was our first visit to a B&B, so we didn’t know what to expect. Ramona greeted us at the door with a big smile and showed us around. I had told her we were coming here for Derrick’s birthday and asked if we could get a gift basket…pirate-themed! She put a lot of love into it because she found a beautiful treasure chest and filled it with chocolate coins, pirate games, mugs, etc. Thank you so much for taking the time to do that! We slept well and had a wonderful morning!

- We so enjoyed your lovely B&B and your hospitality. It was special to visit a bit with you and share experiences. New Ulm is such a delightful, neat, clean town. What a joy to walk the historic town, visit and see some old buildings and end up at the Schell Brewery and its tour. Love it all, including the two restaurants you recommended. Thank you for making our visit so memorable.

- Our last night on holiday and what a lovely note to end it on – our stay was comfortable and so relaxing. Reading in the sunroom whilst sipping a glass of wine last night brought a perfect close to an enjoyable day. - Gary and Ramona, I just wanted to pass along a very nice compliment you received. This afternoon a gentleman from Germany stopped in for some more travel info and he raved about his stay at your B&B. He said the company was excellent as was the food. Was very impressed with the wine/nuts, etc. that you apparently shared with them yesterday. Near the end of our visit he told me that I must have been trying to entice them to return for the Hermman Monument program next year. I said of course we always encourage visitors to return. He said if/when they come back they will definitely stay at the Deutsche Strasse B & B again. Just wanted to pass along this good news item. He also told me that he and his wife had "boosted" the economy of New Ulm as they found many things to purchase. Always good news. Thanks for being great hosts and promoting the good will of New Ulm.
